Mechanical Engineering Department

Mechanical Engineering provides practical knowledge through practical experience in the design, production and repair of various machines, vehicles/vehicles. Mechanical Engineering has a significant contribution to the global industrial revolution.


Post-Diploma Future: Direct entry into the second year of degree engineering, job opportunities are available in multinational companies such as Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto, Mahindra & Mahindra, G-India, Cummins India, Alfa Laval, Thyssenkrupp, etc., as well as in companies like Junior Engineer, Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector (ARTO), MIDC (Assistant Engineer), Technician, Works Department (PWD), Railways, Defence Department (MES, DRDO), ONGC etc.

  • 3Design/development of solution: Design solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist with the design of system components or processes to meet specified needs.
  • 4.Engineering Tools, Experimentation, and Testing: Apply Modern Mechanical engineering tools and appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements.
  • 5.Engineering practices for society, sustainability and environment: Apply appropriate technology in context of society, sustainability, environments and ethical Practices.
  • 6.Project Management: Use engineering management principals individually, as team member or a leader to manage projects and effectively communicate about well-defined engineering activities.
  • 7.Life-long learning: Ability to analyze individuals needs and engage in updating in the context of technological changes.

  • 1.Modern Software Usage: Use latest Mechanical engineering related software’s for simple design, drafting, manufacturing, maintenance and documentation of mechanical engineering components and processes.
  • 2.Equipment and Instruments: Maintain equipment and instruments related to Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3.Mechanical Engineering Processes: Manage Mechanical engineering processes by selecting and scheduling relevant equipment, substrates, quality control techniques, and operational parameters.
